1) It's always good to have high-ankle trekking shoes of lightweight. The high-ankle shoe will protect you from cold and herbs on the way to Kedarnath temple that can hurt you. As you have to trek for a very long distance light weight will play a key role in supporting you while you trek. If you can't afford the trekking shoes or you are not a regular trekker then you can also go for good sports shoes with all the above features. 2) Always prefer to select shoes with very soft fabrics and sweat-absorbing ability which is also known as breathability. This is very important for your comfortable walk. 3) Waterproof:- Always prefer to take waterproof shoes as the weather here at Kedarnath is very unpredictable and you may face heavy rainfall or snowfall during your trek. 1) Make sure that the jacket you are going to purchase is effective in very low temperatures as low as -15 degrees Celsius. 2) Also check for a breathable lower layer of jacket for your pleasant trekking experience. 3) It's preferable to take a waterproof and wind protection jacket as the climate at Kedarnath is very harsh and unpredictable. 4) In addition to this you can go for a better design, with a hood and pocket flap to protect water from entering into your jacket and adjustable closure with perfect fit and comfort.
