Laka Glacier, which literally means "mouth of snow," is the least marketed but is one of the most famous winter treks in Himachal Pradesh. Located at an altitude of 10,600 feet, this trek offers mesmerizing views to its trekkers with minimum effort. With a small trek of 16 km from McLeodganj (Dharamshala), one can easily get a marvelous view of the Glacier region. Good Morning with beautiful views of valleys around Dharamshala. We will reach Dharmshala by 7:00 A.M, your cab will be waiting to take you to Mcleodganj hotel, get ready in 1 to 2 hours and reach the dining rooms for breakfast, after having the first delicious food of Himachal, meet your tour coordinator he will be brief you about today's trek and plan and we will start our trek. 1st day of 2025 Begins the day by wishing everyone a 'Happy New Year 2025 with a gorgeous view all around the campsite. Today will undertake a 10 km long trek (5 km uphill and 5 km downhill) that will take you to Laka Glacier, Have a hot and tasty breakfast and get ready to trek to Laka Glacier, in 15 to 20 minutes we will be at the top of Triund, capture the beauty on phone and continue to Laka Glacier, first 30 minutes The trail is uphill and then gradually the path becomes a little easier but in December it will be covered with snow so it will be more adventurous, within 3 hours we will be at Laka Glacier, Enjoy hot Maggi while enjoying the beauty of snow-covered hill, and in fact, you can call it "PAHADO WALI MAGGIE" as we are eating at above 10000 feet, there is no water stream on the way so carry 2 litters of water. Now we will come down the same way and reach back to our campsite, have dinner and stay overnight in your camp.

Catch the sunrise view in your eyes as today we will be trekking back to Mcleodganj, today's route is very easy and will take 3 hours from Truind to Mcleodganj which is well marked, the route by Crossing the forest, We will reach Mcleodganj around 12 noon to 1:00 pm.
