We start at 7:00 AM from Haridwar railway station.So if you are joining us from Haridwar, ensure reaching the railway station before 7:00 AM. Our vehicle will meet you outside the Haridwar railway station at parking. If you are joining us from Rishikesh then we will reach there probably by 8:30 to 9:00 AM. Exact timing can be confirmed by the driver on the day of your trip. Put your luggage in the vehicle and settle down on your seat. Today is the first day of our do dham yatra and we will go to Guptkashi. On the way, we will cover Dev Prayag, Rudraprayag and Dhari Devi Temple and then reach to Guptkashi. Today's night stay will be in Guptkashi. Your tour guide will meet you at Guptkashi Resort and will brief you about the trek.
First temple we will cover in Do dham yatra is Kedarnath temple. And this is the great day we will visit our first dream temple. After breakfast, the entire team and guide will be transferred to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag we will take government taxi and move to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, our trek guide will take you on a trek to Kedarnath. On your route, you will move through Rambara Bridge, Jungle Chatti, Bheem Bali, Linchauli, Kedarnath base camp, and then Kedarnath temple. By Train: Nearest railway station to Kedarnath Temple is Yog Nagri Rishikesh which is located at a distance of 220 kms and 290 kms from Badrinath temple. It is well connected with other major station of India. If you don't get direct train for this station, you can also book your ticket for Dehradun, Haridwar and Roorkee as all these cities are situated in the close vicinity of Rishikesh.
By Air: Nearest airport to Kedarnath and Badrinath temple is Jolly grant airport also known as Dehradun airport. It is located at a distance of 240 kms from Kedarnath temple and 304 kms from Badrinath temple. Almost all the major flight companies have regular flight for this airport. But if you don't get direct flight for this airport you can also book your flight for Indra Gandhi International (IGI) airport, in Delhi which is the nearest international airport to Kedarnath and Badrinath temple.
